Our inspections are performed in accordance with the standards of practice and the code of ethics of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).  Each of our inspectors is a certified home Inspector through Oregon State (OCHI).  The House Detectives LLC is fully insured!

Residential Inspections of condominiums, townhouses, single, multi-family, and manufactured homes.  These are thorough inspections of building’s exterior and interior components and all systems. On each full home inspection, we send out two inspectors- one with an electrical and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning technician) background- the other with a general contractors/ pest and dry rot operators background. 

Commercial Building Inspections

ADA Compliance and Earthquake Inspections

Condition Inspections of a single system or component conducted by a credentialed highly qualified inspector.

Expert Witness Service

Pest and Dry-Rot Inspections.  We can also provide the paperwork needed for FHA and VA loans.

Roof Certification.  We can tell you the condition of the roof- if and what types of repairs need to be made to prolong the life of the roof- or if it needs to be replaced.

Radon Testing We are EPA certified to measure Radon and we use CRM's (Continuous Radon Monitors) and can provide a measurement reading within 3 days.

Water Testing conducted by a state licensed laboratory. Tests include bacteriological analysis; general water screen; mineralogical analysis; standard water test; extended water test; lead in water test; volatile organics compounds test.

Asbestos Testing conducted by a licensed laboratory; include bulk sample analysis and evaluation.

Lead Testing for the presence of lead in paint, water and soil is conducted by a OR licensed testing company.
